I’m Aria, and this is my little nook on the internet where I put some of my inner sensibilities on display!

My academic interests started off with tech and programming, but has since pivoted into linguistics. I still keep up with tech, but more on the IT and infrastructure side of things.

On the theoretical side of linguistics, I particularly enjoy morphology, as well as its intersections with phonology, morphophonemics. I spend much more time interacting with the applied side however, where I find interest in multilingualism, early adolescent language acquisition, as well as sociolinguistics.

Some interests of mine outside of work and academics include fashion, beauty, the arts (museums, symphony, cinema, among others), and scouting for good urban design in the real world.

In my free time, I’m probably learning languages, trying to improve at various music games, or exploring more of the world!
